Lake Meade Municipal Authority
Meeting Minutes-April 13, 2026
Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 6.10.
Roll: In attendance were James Murtaugh, William Staines, Cythina Simpson, Cliff Stamm, Mitchell
Highlands, Adam Ebersole and Suzann Grim.
Minutes: The minutes from March 2026 were approved upon motion by: Cythina Simpson and seconded
by Bill Staines and passed unanimously.
Treasurers Report: Account balances, bills, and expenditures for March 2026 were presented and
approved upon a motion by: Cythina Simpson seconded by Bill Staines and approved unanimously.
Open Forum: No residents in attendance
Plant Operations Report:
• Mitchell reported that the plant is running smoothly and there are no new issues to report.
• Adam provided the board with Jason Stevens’ annual self-evaluation and employer review.
• Board approved service department to begin restoring dry hydrants around the lake upon
motion by: William Staines, seconded by Cythina Simpson and approved unanimously.
Office operations Report:
• Billing Totals: Sewer $191,961.38 Water: $131,326.00 Total: $323,287.38
• Adams Electric ownership rewards $3,594.70
• Permit issued for 33 Lake Meade Drive, Bon-Ton Builders.
• First Commonwealth Bank accounts updated, and new board member added.
• 2026 Budget was approved upon a motion by: Cythina Simpson, seconded by Cliff Stamm and
approved unanimously.
• Board approved Cambridge CD’s to be renewed for 3,6,9, and 12 months to be split evenly upon
a motion by: William Staines, seconded by Cythina Simpson and approved unanimously.
Employee Vacation: Suzann Vacation June 5 & 8
Employee Training: No training scheduled.
Executive Session: Board went into executive session to review Jason Stevens annual review.
Old Business:
• Mitchell will provide the board with two comparable quotes for a new storage building at the
May meeting before moving forward.
Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned upon a motion by: Cythia Simpson, seconded by Bill Staines and
approved unanimously at 7.30
